Number 1 in USA this wk but 18 Dec in SG

• It started in September when Eagle Eye debuted at number 1 earning $29 million thus earning a place in the top 10 opening of all time.

October 2008 (Top 10 opening in Oct of all time)

• Number 1 – Beverly Hills Chihuahua = $29 million (opening wk)
• Number 1 – Saw 5 = $30 million (opening wk)
• Number 1 – HSM 3 = $42 million (opening wk)

November 2008 (Top 10 opening in Nov of all time)

• Number 1 – Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa = $63 million (opening wk)
  
• Number 1 – Quantum of Solace = $67 million (opening wk)
  
• Number 1 – Twilight = $70 million (projected opening wk) might actually be ard 67-68 millions

Do you see a pattern here? Each movie opens higher then it’s predecessor …..i supposed everyone needs to take their mind away from the financial turmoils and enjoy whatever the studios are churning out, be it good or bad. Unfortuntuely, some number 1’s are just not well made. Btw, Twilight is based on Stephenie Meyer’s vampire romance novel and is opening in Sg on 18 December 2008.
